As we journey one day closer to the October 2020 release date of the book Operation Heal America, please allow me to share a couple of things that I believe are essential for you to know about me and this exciting mission we are about to embark on together. First, I was hoping someone else would do it! I prayed for many years that God would use someone more qualified than me with church influence at the national level to step up and do what God asked me to do. After years of unanswered prayer and silence from heaven, it became clear that God wanted me to do it!

I’ll never forget the day I got my “orders.” “Wait! What? What do you want me to do? Please, find somebody else. This is not my area of expertise.”

Then, slowly, over the days, weeks, months, and years that followed, my shock and disbelief turned to great joy as I came to realize that God really did want to use someone as sinful and small as me to do this great work with you for Him. Then it occurred to me. This is exactly what He does! He qualifies the unqualified when the unqualified are willing to step up with the gifts, talents, and abilities He gave them to align their wills with His will to advance His kingdom and magnify His glory! And make no mistake, this is what 2 Chronicles 7:14 is all about—putting God on display!

You see, the only proper response there will be after knowing God has heard our prayers, forgiven our sin, and healed our land will be all-out praise and worship to the only true God, our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ who alone is worthy!

The Holy Spirit spoke these words to me that I would now like to share with you:

Jim, while you were waiting for someone else to act, I’ve been waiting for you to act. Stop ignoring me. Do you realize that I allowed you to become a Special Agent with the FBI so you would know how to be my “Special Agent” in the earth for such a time as this? While the FBI credentials I allowed you to carry for over twenty years gave you legal power and authority to act on behalf of the United States, they weren’t your first set of credentials. You received your first set when you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. All of my children have them, but not all of them know it. Like your FBI credentials, your spiritual credentials, however, give you legal power and authority to act on my behalf in the earth to advance my kingdom and bring me glory. You remember when I showed you this on the job, right?

I’m giving you these orders because I need someone from the “outside” with your background and experience, who is not immersed in church politics or afraid to “buck” the religious “establishment” that only exists to advance (or preserve) its kingdoms and glory. I need someone who not only sees the enormity of the problem, but feels the enormity of the problem with the vision, skills, courage, commitment, and conviction that I gave him to act.

Furthermore, I need someone undistracted with the affairs of this life who can fully dedicate themselves to the successful completion of this mission. I need someone who understands and will respect my chain of command and not go rogue on me. Finally, I need someone who, because of their training and experience, cannot be “bought,” co-opted, bribed, or recruited to complete any other mission than the one I give him.

I want you to take your thirty-six years of operational experience from the Navy and FBI and write an Operation Order (OPORD) for my people in America centered on 2 Chronicles 7:14 that, if followed, would obligate me to fulfill my terms to them. And remember this. While I will do what I said I would do if my people do what I told them to do, it will, first and foremost, be about my kingdom and glory in preparation for my return! Call it Operation Heal America.

Now, go in my name with my favor and do what I’ve asked you to do. I will provide every resource you need as you walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians. 5:7). Do not be moved by what you see or hear. No weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 NKJV).

Finally, and most importantly, remember, I’ll be with you even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
